QuestionAnswer
Can I copy and paste from the internet? Absolutely not, unless you are quoting a source and appropriately cite it. Please see the Course Manual (syllabus) for the full Academic Honesty policy.
Can I turn in all of my work during the last week of the semester? It is impossible to pass the course by only working for one week. Please see the Course Manual (syllabus) for grading details.
Can I turn in late work? Please see the Course Manual (syllabus) for details on the late work policy.
How much time will this class take? For a student of average ability, this course will take 5-7 hours per week. It is expected that students are working for at least 1 hour per day in the course.
I started the course late. What do I do? Where do I start? Please refer to the instructions that Mrs. ZB sent to your Jeffco Gmail when you started the course.
Why am I being marked absent? Students must log on to a content page for at least 5 minutes to be counted present. Viewing the course update feed is not enough. If you work in the course for at least 1 hour per day, you will not need to worry about being marked absent.
Why do I need access to a webcam and microphone? Throughout the semester, you may be assigned projects where you need to create videos or other media. These projects seem daunting at first but they help students learn digital storytelling skills and confidence as well as demonstrate all of the learning that students are doing in class.
Why should I check My Jeffco Gmail often? Not only is that where you will get notifications from Schoology, that is where Mrs. ZB will contact you. If you don't check Jeffco gmail often, follow the directions in the Course Information folder to forward to a different email address.
